    If you have been visiting our site regularly, you must have noticed that we try to track many free games in our Games section. And that any of our members can add their own review, screenshots and guides to each game page. This for sure help other people decide whether or not to try the game.

    I was chatting with someone on IRC about an idea that could help Open Source and free games in general - a clone of Steam, as in Valve. Imagine a single application that would fetch, install and load any free game for you. You would no longer have to search websites (like this one Sticking out tongue ), follow install instructions or even wait for FilePlanet downloads to play free games.

    This is a quick update for those of you that have been wondering why things haven't updated much on the website. Well, I have been busy with life, work, etc. But most importantly, I've been busy planning a complete overhaul of the website (yes, another one!).

    The latest incarnation of the Nexuiz franchise has been released! From the official announcement:

  • Blog: Warzone 2100 gets an improved terrain renderer

    I was checking the Warzone 2100 website, and bumped on a forum post from one of their developers who has made a multi-texture terrain blend render patch. With this patch the maps will have a more realistic and natural feel, instead of tiled patterns. This improvement takes Warzone 2100 a step closer to commercial RTS war games like C&C.
