"Fly on!"

Hey guys,

For the last couple of days, I've been working on a new FlightGear 'movie'. This one has a lot of take off and landing action in it and that's why it took me kinda long to create. And now here it is! I hope you'll enjoy watching it Smiling

"Fly On!"

Please let me know what you think of it!

Some fun things to know about this video:
- I recorded 39 minutes and 36 seconds of FlightGear footage (this means I pause the recorder when I'm preparing good shots and stuff so maybe I've been flying for almost 2 hours)
- It took me about 6 hours in Logic to create the music (this is just an estimation)
- For the editing I spend about 8 hours in ScreenFlow, over ±5 days (again an estimation, can be 6, can be 10)
- Exporting took me another hour (normally it takes just a few minutes, but I had to do this one over some times...)
- Yes, I still enjoy doing this a lot!

ghostshell @ Sun, 05/16/2010 - 12:57pm · #3963 Wow i had no idea how long a video could take. Excellent work though. It flows very well. The only glitch I could notice was at 0:19. Great work!

+1 cant wait to see what you can do with other games Smiling

Oscar @ Sun, 05/16/2010 - 3:55pm · #3965 Thanks! Actually 0:19 was ment as a sort of 'effect' on the hi-hat, but maybe that wasn't clear enough Eye-wink This video took so long to make because of the amount of footage I had to shoot. I don't know how many aircrafts are in there, but after all it took me way too long to film it Sticking out tongue Beside that, it took me about an extra hour to add the tire-smoke to some aircrafts who doesn't support that already (only the 777 (0:43 & 2:24) and the 737 (1:32) had the smoke built-in). I just had to figure out how to add the smoke realistically in a simple way, and I think I did Sticking out tongue

For the other games - you'll hear from Fallen and I Eye-wink
