Just noticed this article in our gaming news aggregator list. We are witnessing the next trend of games, replacing flash with html5 canvas. Let's hope many new free online games come from this. Combine this with Google's native app plugin, and desktop games might become less important in the future.

K13PTo @ Sun, 01/31/2010 - 1:19am · #3603 I tested the single player out, pretty good. Some bugs, but its still new. The big companies seem to love it. Google, Youtube, and Vimeo have embraced HTML5.
