Thought it was time for me to mention a few very nice sites, where gamers like us broadcast themselves live playing their favorite games.

Not all the broadcast are in good quality or of interest, but with the variety of people and games being streamed, you'll surely find something you'll like.

The big plus about those site is the fact that you can view the games in action and not has a prep trailer to sell you the game! But the actual gameplay of it, you can view its flaws or awesomeness and decide if it's worth playing, renting, buying or if its a shitty game.

I'm gonna start with my favorite among those sites;
http://www.justin.tv/directory/gaming

This is where i've found the broadcasters with the best quality in streaming and an impressive range of games being played, from new releases to old classic games and in every type; fps, rts, rpg, mmo, ect.

Here's some of the best channels imo;

http://www.justin.tv/multiboxing
He mostly play World of Warcraft with 5 characters at once, but sometimes and this when i usually watch, he play some new releases or games still in beta. But what makes him worth mentioning, are his effort in broadcasting in the best quality possible.

Second; http://www.justin.tv/flamegoat
The guy plays lots of cool games and he's a really good modeler. If you're lucky you might catch him making some new amazing stuff in Zbrush.

Also among the skillful peoples broadcasting; http://www.justin.tv/fredrin and http://www.justin.tv/evilmrfrank. FredArting's brush work is pretty amazing and it's actually pretty nice to see him build his comics/manga. For evilmrfrank, he's doing some really nice work building levels for the game Borderland with the Unreal Editor.

And for last; http://www.justin.tv/solgryn
The guy is building levels and developing some cool games live for us to see, learn and appreciate. Some of his work; http://www.solgryn.org/

For livestream.com, there's actually 2 pages where you can find gaming being broadcasted, http://www.livestream.com/guide/games and http://www.livestream.com/guide/xfiregames. The second is the more interesting one, where the broadcasters are also connected to xfire.

Just like with Justin.tv, you have a good range of games and quality of broadcast. You also have the possibility of chatting with other viewers and the broadcaster while watching.

Second best imo, lots of good games being played there and lots of channels broadcasting in good quality. Another interesting thing, is that depending on the time of the day when you are watching, you can view alot of broadcasters from asia and often they will be playing games exclusive to asian market or not released in eu or na yet.

I didn't mentioned the other categories of videos being broadcasted, i wanted to keep this in theme with our gaming community, so i'll let you discover those for yourself. But know that it can be very very addictive when you start looking into those movies and tv series channels Eye-wink

Unfortunately the number of open source games being played and broadcasted are very slim, if not inexistent. But i guess if we want foss games to be seen and broadcasted.. we're the ones who'll have to put them outhere Smiling

yeah lots of warcraft broadcasters, not to bring them down, but watching someone grind to get shit is pretty boring :/

Most fun i had watching someone broadcast WoW was when they played battlegrounds/pvp, that looked pretty fun.
