28 Comments What are the guidelines for blog postings being "on topic"? The current front page entries are:
* GADGET TURNS OFF TV IF NOT WORKING HARD ENOUGH
* Spam?!??! WHAT?!!?
* AI elements in newest Star Wars game
* Wii Hack Continued
* New VR technology
* ATF Loses its guns
* This is quite possibly the greatest invention ever
* New way to teach using new technology
* McCain changes opinion about Stem Cells
* Sarah Palin's Email hacked
(Key: Red = not gaming related)
Now while three ply toilet paper may be the greatest thing since sliced bread, and I'm always encouraged when people pay attention to politics (it's your life, stupid: inform yourself and vote!), it's not clear how non-gaming posts should be treated with respect to contributor credits. And the game reviews (gaming-related but plagiarized) still show up as the #2 contributor.
I don't see a field to !report off-topic blogs, and it's not clear where the contributor points come from since there's no way to rate blogs (as there was for guide pages). I'd be happy to whore contributor points by scanning c|net, wired, itwhirled, etc for funny stories and posting them, but I don't think that's what o8 should be about. Ghostshell, Ender, Chessguy and Sunburn should be the TOP CONTRIBUTORS, since they are the ones who are actually doing stuff themselves and writing about it, but only one of them is listed in the top 5.

The goal is to share any items that you find interesting around the web on this website. That will keep us all informed and entertained.
I am confused as to wht you are trying to make this website; a gaming website or a website to post anything you find interesting and want to share?

Never mind guys, this is the second time i lost a demo of a cheater : S, it seems like some kind of tremfusion bug that cant save demos doing /stoprecord or it is saving them in a different folder...i dont know.

with a little bit of tweaking, thisll work out well, and youve got to admit, 1 domain is less confusing than 2.
I liked having options from BOTH blogs and FORUMS. LOL! Feel bad for GHost doing all this stuff for people and people dont take it for granted. Seriously, MAKE YOUR OWN SITE IF YOU DISLIKE IT THAT BAD. Im not crazy about it, but its better than NO SITE AT ALL!
