Warzone 2100 logoOn April 1st, the Warzone 2100 team released 2.1.3 of the game - no, this is not an April Fool's hoax

Warzone 2100 is a post-apocalyptic strategy game with campaign and skirmish modes, for single and multi-player. In this new version some of the changes include:
- Fixed issue that prevented information about enemy research to be shared between hosts
- Fixed crashes in netlog code, path-finding, pregame chat, and burning scavengers
- Players no longer drop from game after too much data has been sent, usually happens in long games
- New map 4c-Urban-Chaos and water tiles on little egypt map fixed
Also including the new
terrain renderer which we mentioned back in January. For more details about Warzone 2100, and where to get it, on our game page -

hang in there, po
EDIT:
Hooray! It works now! I can finally get the chance to play an RTS other than Star Craft. I never wanted to get into that game.
If you had to take any special steps, please consider writing a quick guide to help other Mac users.
I hope it's a really fun game.
only like 200 people playing it, while Nexuiz or Trem have over a mill
Some people would argue Trem is dead too. But people still play it because it's fun.
But WZ has no online multiplayer, just a strong singleplayer. Being dead wouldn't change a thing. Btw, anyone know why punkbuster is giving me problems in Wolfenstein: ET, it never was like that before...
no?
you can all go to hell.
(2) Who doesn't know about X11? It might confuse some people a little bit if they're new to FOSS, but why do you need a guide for setting it up?
(3) Yes, yes it does have a multiplayer. The lobby doesn't work particularly well, but go to #warzone2100 and there are many people trying to set up a game. A lot of people from Tremulous play WZ2100 with other people in that community, as well.
There are many people who don't know aboot X11, eh. You won't believe how many friends houses I've been to, just to show them what X11 was. (I've been showing them GIMP, eh. Plus Ghost asked to post any extra steps to playing the game, eh. Plus it never hurts to have a guide, eh. Plus when Y3K comes next year, and Gameboom is all that's left, I shall be known as a god and all shall worship me, eh.)
