No comments yet I installed this on my Ubuntu Intrepid 64 bit and it works just great. Just need to install this:
sudo aptitude install libgtk1.2
and run the installer as root:
sudo sh BtRLDemoInstaller.run
And then it should appear on your games menu on Gnome or KDE.
If you ever played Descent FreeSpace you really need to try this, it's free! The graphics are a lot better than the original game.
