FEAR can be played in single or multi player mode. I have only tried the multiplayer mode so far. It is a fast paced game that needs good reflexes. You have a good choice of weapons from pistils, machine guns to the shotgun. I like the shotgun since most of the multiplayer action is close quarters.

One other things is that you will need to get a CD-Key from the website to install this game. The keys are free and they e-mail it to you. If you do not have a disposable e-mail account for stuff like this, get one (keeps the spam down).
It can get kind of confusing at times and hard to tell who is on what team. The secret? Look for the arm bands! You will have to find a server that gives you a good ping. Alot of the servers do not have a ping listed which would cause you to think they are offline. But they are not.
