Well as I speak I had to comeback home to pickup some stuff I forgot as I left to stay in a hotel for the weekend, to enjoy the beach a little you know
I also left an upload to youtube of my latest 2 test videos with GLC correcting stuff like gamma brightness and contrast, I think I got it working fine now. I mean the resulting files are small enough to keep them stored for posterity, and with decent HD quality. I'm planning on blogging a howto here later, and some more videos of other games I play with Ubuntu.
Here is the same video I posted last time of K13PTo rushing alien base, but more brighter. If you watch carefully you will find Mercury hacking tremulous as usual. That guy is funny ( I love his freeze ray ).
The other video is a little clip of XreaL ( http://xreal-project.net/ ) that I compiled some time ago. I need to update it and recompile to see how is doing. Enjoy!
heya Sweet! I'm re-making your video again from the demo file and posting it in HD eh? want to? sup Cody The video in the bottom is a mod of Quake 3 Arena with a new graphic engine called XreaL, it is basically the same game but it looks better and it moves faster FPS, because it takes advantage of newer GPU's like nvidia 7xxx and up, using VBO's to render graphics through the video card instead of using the processor. Take a look at http://xreal-project.net/
Also, Amanieu from Tremfusion has been working hard on porting parts from the XreaL engine into Tremulous, so maybe someday it will look like it.
