set forfast "+forward; boost"
set forslow "+forward"
set bakfast "+back; boost"
set bakslow "+back"

set boostoff "bind w vstr forslow; bind s vstr bakslow; bind j vstr booston; echo Boost off."
set booston "bind w vstr forfast; bind s vstr bakfast; bind j vstr boostoff; echo Boost on."
bind j "vstr boostoff"

The language is kind of primitive, so had to do the vstrs to get it all working. Problem is, I'm having troubles with this setup. Probably some idiot mistake.

Been working on this for Cody, so some help would be appreciated.

Best solution for this is a separate cfg file.

You put these binds below, in your autoexec.cfg
(if you don't have an autoexec.cfg, make one)
bind w "+forward"
bind s "+back"
bind j "exec booster.cfg; echo ^3Boost^2On"

And put the files in this zip in your /base folder.
AttachmentSize
booster.zip 201 bytes

If you bind J to execute the booster config, what do you rebind your jetpack to?

Personally i just boost with a key --> kp_end
And i use the third mouse button to toggle on/off the jetpack.

The J comes from the bind fedoraman made;
Quote:
set forfast "+forward; boost"
set forslow "+forward"
set bakfast "+back; boost"
set bakslow "+back"

set boostoff "bind w vstr forslow; bind s vstr bakslow; bind j vstr booston; echo Boost off."
set booston "bind w vstr forfast; bind s vstr bakfast; bind j vstr boostoff; echo Boost on."
bind j "vstr boostoff"

I guess him or cody would have the answer to that J key/jetpack question Smiling

hey Heckle, just bind any key you feel comfortable to this:

bind k "itemtoggle jetpack;sell jetpack;sell battpack;buy jetpack"

Man, remember I did a tip guide on my autoexec.cfg. Now it's huge, I had to split all my configs in like 6 files, I have to organize all my binds and maybe I'll do a new guide. I miss the guides section in the main menu, like it was in the past.

Btw just found that post:
