Pros
Emotes
Booster healing is faster
Cades are nice
Rant/bsuit view is appropriate
Basi range is better
Goon pounce has more knock back
You can see BP when you switch to blaster w/ckit
S1 Granger has slash

Cons
Turret sound
Goon range sucks
luci seems too fast
Cannot rebuild OM/RC after SD
BP takes forever to come back

Well those are some of my pros/cons.
I would like to hear what about you guys. What do you like about 1.2 and what do you dislike? Throw out suggestions for improvements? (even though I cannot change it of course, I would just like to read them) Sticking out tongue

As for your last con, it can also become a pro, games when both humans and aliens have no main building at sd are hilarious. Also, in 1.1 some structs are rebuildable after SD, as far I know, because of a mod, it want never included in "stock" trem. Same for share/donate, killer dmg etc.

Goon range indeed suck. With high ping on unlagged I could barely hit a human. With low ping on unlagged it's nearly impossible for me to chomp, or for others to chomp me Sticking out tongue Pounce is maybe stronger but harder to hit too (I had problems to adjust from 1.1 to kill a turret with pounce, I kept flying over it not hitting it).

I'd also like to congratulate DS since it's for some reason the only one active non-official server Sticking out tongue

I'm not really thinking much of the changes. I'm mostly waiting for graphical updates. However, I don't have many complaints, the only one I can think of is the goon range and it's still not perfectly balanced.

On one hand the goon range was kind of ridiculous, on the other hand it almost needed to be. I wouldn't mind a slightly shorter goon range, but this is a bit much.

Well how I see it, aliens need the range that they had in 1.1
Aliens do not have guns like the humans do, so they have to get close, but if humans keep backing up with 1.2 range, the aliens can never hit them.

This was all from before 1.2 came out and from about 20-30 games with the beta out. Correct me on a few things if they changed them.

Pros:
Basi grab is better (though it should be the same length as the slash...)
Pulse is faster
Bsuit pov is nice.
Md damage upped.
Basi gas effects helmets.
Cades and hives are more useful now.
Tesla doesn't need dc, dc heals buildings.
There are a lot more I could say, but I'm not going to look them up.

Cons: (Going to go a bit more into detail here)
A) Lucifer cannon isn't good for attacking bases now, you can't charge quick enough to kill things. It wasn't broken in 1.1.
B) Can't /itemtoggle blaster quick anymore. Not saying that it'd need to work for luci, it's just annoying to have it so slow if you accidentally toggled it.
C) Mara jump is lowered and it seems way too slow. The new wall jump also makes it somewhat hard to get away.
D) Dretch is too fast, and a little smaller than it seems for the hitbox, making it harder for beginners to learn.
E) Goon pounce is way too strong. It was already strong enough in 1.1, but it was nice to have knockback put it.
F) Lack of /boost, making it weirder to sprint since it can't be toggled off once you start running. Some may like the new way, but it would've been nice to have both.
G) Alien regeneration is a bit too slow. It makes it a little campier since aliens won't be able to attack as well. But in no way should it be as fast as in 1.1
H) Repeaters give only a small amount of bp. This makes it a lot harder to move for humans (this happened on a Niveus game when we wanted to move to window, but the lack of bp made it so we couldn't build anymore).
J) Rant height is a little odd. It's just annoying to play with, makes it feel a lot clumsier. Then the charge is a little too strong, it's a secondary for God's sake.
K) Teslas are still a little too weak. Barely enough dps for costing more than rets.
L) Adv. granger is very SLOW.
M) Dodge is not needed. It's kind of cool, but with a slower mara it just becomes annoying as hell.

And that's all I can think of for now. I'll add some more if I remember later.

Yeah. I last played a bit over a week ago and someone complained that I was camping alien base too much. With the changes to slash/trample for goons/rants, it took more effort and I would run back to OM or booster to regenerate health. I don't do well with aliens healing, I'm all over the place and it gets hectic.

Humans shouldn't move to window on Niveus anyway; it's a death trap Smiling

Mark makes it a lot easier to move - just mark the entire old base and start building away in the new, even in S1. What I don't like is that there is no "usable BP" indicator - you can have 20 BP of marked structures but the display only shows 4 BP available.

And I'm not really fond of the "semi-SD" BP regeneration. Even though I can see the rationale for making base kills last longer, it's still annoying as heck.

I wish that when you mark for example a turret, and you want to build a DC in it's place, that you could actually do that. But you can't. :/
