Blog: Warzone 2100 gets an improved terrain renderer Tue, 01/20/2009 - 3:18am — ghostshell · 2 Comments I was checking the Warzone 2100 website, and bumped on a forum post from one of their developers who has made a multi-texture terrain blend render patch. With this patch the maps will have a more realistic and natural feel, instead of tiled patterns. This improvement takes Warzone 2100 a step closer to commercial RTS war games like C&C.

One thing that is going to make me happy soon on my ps3, is this nice thing I love from my PC, being able to play with my mouse. I was reluctant to move to a console, but I got used to it, the damn controller to play fps games, for Christ sake's, who ever think of a stick for that?

Left 4 Dead is game from Valve: creators of games such as Half-Life, Counter Strike, and Team Fortress 2. It comes out tomorrow, November 18th.

It's human vs. human with massdrivers, instakill and really GREAT knockback. You can play this at 2 servers: TremSpain (you'll have to callvote instagib) and mdG+Instagib.

Today, during my Digital Recording class, my instructor, who owns a gaming company (the name escapes me right now, sorry), told me that his company (or one he's affiliated with) is working on a new game engine.

The reason this is exciting is because he says it's way beyond even the Unreal 3 engine, with ray tracing mappin
